AStA and StuPa

The AStA is the executive body, while StuPa serves as the legislative arm of the student council. Students elect members of StuPa, which then elects the AStA members.

AStA represents the interests of students in the university and public sphere, e.g. when dealing with the press and student administration:

• handles the semester ticket
• provides advice and representation for issues of a general nature
• runs the university shop (Uni-Shop)
• provides international student IDs
• organises functions and parties

International Student Identity Card

The International Student Identity Card (ISIC) is accepted in more than 110 countries all over the world. With this card you can get reductions for flights, accommodations, museums and theatres.

Validity: 1st September until 31st December of the following year.
Price: EUR 10
